Media Profiles

Complete data on any Armenian outlet

The Media Profiles tool provides a data-driven, 360-degree digital passport for any outlet in our database. Discover the volume and hourly rhythm of publications, editorial topics, the site’s real influence rating and its latest items. Know the press as it really is.

What problem this tool solves

You see the names of various outlets in your reports, but you don’t really know their weight and working style. A Media Profile turns unfamiliar names into clear, analytical data.

End “blind” media relations

A site whose name you are hearing for the first time is covering you? Does it have high influence, or is it a narrow, marginal source? A Media Profile instantly shows the site’s real face, protecting you from mistargeted media outreach.

Precise press-release planning

Sending material is no longer guesswork. Knowing an outlet’s publishing rhythm, peak hours and preferred editorial topics, you send the right material at the right time to the right newsroom.

Not all mentions are equal

A single quality article in a leading outlet with an influence rating of 94/100 outweighs reprints on dozens of sites rated 12/100. The tool helps you measure your PR result with qualitative indicators rather than just quantitative ones.

What every Media Profile includes

All the data you need to understand Armenian media.

Influence rating (Influence Score 0–100)

A composite score representing an outlet’s real weight and audience reach in the Armenian media field, based on how often other sources cite it and its overall level of credibility.

Publishing activity by day and hour

A visual chart that clearly shows when an outlet is most active. If a site’s activity peaks on Tuesday morning at 10:00, you will know when it makes sense to send your release.

Editorial topics detected by AI

Artificial intelligence analyses every article an outlet publishes and identifies its main editorial focus: politics, economy, culture, sport, diaspora, technology. Learn what an outlet really writes about before approaching it.

Monthly publishing volume

The total number of articles the site publishes. This helps distinguish active machines that generate dozens of items a day from sites that produce analytical content less often.

Latest articles (integrated with Citations)

A list of that site’s freshest material, where with one click you can read the full text and see the AI sentiment.

Sentiment towards your keyword

If you entered the profile from the Media Landscape & AI Sentiment tool, you will also see how that particular source has historically treated your brand (positive, neutral and negative), with the percentage split of items.

What problem it solves

A Media Profile is not a standalone directory: it is available from every point of the platform, giving instant context exactly when you make a decision.

Media Landscape & AI Sentiment ➔ Media Profile

Click any outlet on the general Media Landscape map to open its complete digital passport. Move from overall sentiment statistics to in-depth analysis of a specific source with a single tap.

First Source

When a story appears, First Source shows the timeline of its spread. A Media Profile helps assess the real weight and influence of each outlet in that chain, to understand which of the reprinters’ coverage was the most important and dangerous.

Citations

In Citations every article is shown with its source. Open the profile right from there to understand the outlet’s audience, preferred topics and publishing rhythm before you formulate your official response.

LIVE Media Trends

The trends tool shows which sites feed a given topic the most. Go to their profile to find out: is it a high-influence leading outlet that sets the agenda, or just an aggregator mechanically following the crowd?

Who uses Media Profiles

PR and media relations specialists

Know every outlet before you make contact. Stop wasting resources on irrelevant or low-influence sites and build targeted partnerships with the leaders.

Brand and communications teams

Rank the sources that cover you by their real influence. When a site rated 94/100 criticises you, it calls for a fast response, whereas criticism from a site rated 12/100 can be ignored so as not to create artificial noise.

Researchers and analysts

Map the Armenian media ecosystem. Understand which outlets are aggregators and which are real agenda-shapers. Use our archive to analyse a site’s evolution.

Frequently asked questions

How many Armenian outlets have their own Media Profile?

Every Armenian-language outlet monitored by Mediamonitoring.am has an automatically generated profile. This is the most comprehensive base of Armenian media sources. Profile data is updated automatically alongside each new publication.

How is the “Influence Score” calculated?

It is a complex, multi-component index (0–100) that takes into account publishing frequency, audience engagement and, most importantly, how often other reputable outlets link to the site and reprint its material. It is an indicator of the site’s real position in the Armenian media ecosystem.

How does AI determine and classify editorial topics?

Artificial intelligence deeply analyses the full texts of the articles a source has published. It identifies frequently recurring thematic clusters and vocabulary, forming a picture of the site’s real orientation — regardless of how the site positions itself.

Can I access Media Profiles as a standalone tool, or only from other tools?

Both are possible. You can search for any outlet’s name in the main search field or click directly on any source while working in other tools (for example, from Media Landscape & AI Sentiment, First Source or LIVE Media Trends).
