When any platform publishes an article, item, quote or post containing your keyword, the system catches it in real time — with the exact source and publication time — and stores it in our database.

Given the specifics of the Armenian language, our system is built so that you also find publications for “similar” keywords. For that reason, in some cases you may receive irrelevant publications. The system also understands phrases, but the more words they contain, the more irrelevant publications there will be.
If you are sure the article exists but it did not appear in the search results, the reasons are usually the following.
● The source is not in our database. We deliberately do not monitor suspicious spam sites, to keep your news feed free of junk. In any case, if you find a non-spam site that we do not have, write to support@mediamonitoring.am or use the chatbot.
● Typos in the original source. The journalist may have written your brand name with an error or typo.
● Closed platforms. The material was published in a closed Facebook group or on a personal page (we monitor only publicly available information).
● The material could not be retrieved from the site in full. Very rarely, because of the site’s settings, a publication reaches us incomplete, and the part with your keyword is not included.
Managing alerts is entirely in your hands. For a new mention you can be notified by email or through our dedicated Telegram bot. You decide the frequency yourself: instantly, daily, weekly or monthly. An important advantage: you can set different alert schedules for different keywords (for example, instantly for crisis words and weekly for industry news).
